The science is clear, team —

Climate change is real. And it’s an imminent threat to the planet. But some Republicans in Congress still deny the existence of climate change. Here are just a few examples:

• “I think climate change is… bullsh**.” - Sen. Ron Johnson
• “The scientific evidence doesn’t support global warming.” - Sen. Ted Cruz
• The science is not settled on climate change.” - Congressman Gary Palmer
• “I do not believe climate change is occurring.” - Congressman Andy Biggs
• “Sure the climate is changing… the climate has always been changing.” - Sen. Marco Rubio

Meanwhile, extreme weather is sweeping the nation — from forest fires in the west, to Hurricanes in the Gulf Coast, to flooding in the Northeast. While Republicans deny reality and sit on their hands, Democrats are actually doing something about it.

Democrats in Congress are working with the Biden administration to transition to a clean-energy economy and sustainable future for our planet. But Republicans, under the leadership of Mitch McConnell, continue to stand in their way.
