Her husband, Jayson Boebert, is on track to earn $768,000 in 2021 from Terra Energy Productions. It seems that Jayson Boebert inexplicably earns significantly more than others in equivalent positions. Additionally, Boebert may have violated House ethics rules and filing procedures, due to the way her husband was paid.
Boebert has previously mentioned that her family relies on income from her restaurant Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado. However, Shooters Grill has posted $600,000 in operating losses over the last three years, going back to well before the pandemic. Despite this, they purchased a cargo plane in 2016. Is it possible that Boebert is leveraging her position in on the Natural Resources Committee to make her family richer and support her dying business?
With this and the recent FEC investigation that we wrote to you about on Tuesday, it is clear that Boebert cannot be trusted with her position of authority. It shows us once again that we must do everything we can to replace scammers like Boebert with trustworthy, responsible officials.
