EIGHT WAYS WE CAN HELP WILD SALMON AND STEELHEAD RIGHT NOW
This summer, drought and heat are again challenging Pacific Northwest salmon and steelhead rivers. But while struggling, heat-stressed runs in the Columbia and Sacramento river systems are making national news, what's brought salmonid runs to the brink are 150 years of poor decision-making. Luckily, there’s plenty we can still do to reverse those harms—starting with eight high-leverage actions that will make an outsized impact for wild fish right now.

PROGRESS FOR OREGON WATER POLICY: 2021 LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Oregon’s historic drought has reached every corner of the state. But thanks to the recent passage of a massive $530 million water investment package, the state’s water resources—including its iconic salmon streams—are now poised for better stewardship in the next two years. We break down the 2021 legislative session by good bills passed, bad ones blocked, and critical funding won for state water programs that benefit our fish streams and rivers.
