Pass SB 2.

Friend –

California lawmakers will soon take their final votes of the year. We need them to pass SB 2 to decertify police officers who abuse their power and authority.

All Californians have the right to be protected from abusive police.

California is one of only four states that is unable to decertify officers who engage in serious misconduct like excessive force, sexual assault, and dishonesty. The police lobby is working hard to block SB 2 and avoid real accountability.

Tell your Assemblymember, it's time to decertify cops who harm our communities.

SB 2 is led by the Let Us Live Coalition, whose members include the Alliance for Boys and Men of Color, Anti Police-Terror Project, Black Lives Matter California, California Families United 4 Justice, Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice, PolicyLink, STOP Coalition, and Youth Justice Coalition.

We call on lawmakers to hold police officers accountable to the public they are sworn to serve and protect. It's time to pass SB 2. <[link removed]>

Thanks for taking action,
