Team, this might be shocking to hear, but the Donald Trump-endorsed Republican candidate for governor, Glenn Youngkin, is the historical favorite in this election.

I’ll tell you why, but first, will you rush a contribution to Terry McAuliffe’s campaign so we can counter Glenn Youngkin’s historical advantage in this race?

Here’s the deal. For decades now, Virginia voters have rebuked the sitting president by electing someone from the opposing party to be their Governor. Case in point, when I was elected Governor, it was right after George W. Bush won the Presidency.

Since Joe Biden won last year, Glenn Youngkin is favored to win this year.

But here’s the good news. The one time Virginia bucked that trend was in 2012, when Terry McAuliffe was elected for the first time.

It’s going to take a massive grassroots effort to pull this off again, but with your help, I think we can do it.

Believe me when I say this: Virginia is not a safe blue state. I'm urgently asking you to chip in any amount right now to elect Terry McAuliffe and reverse the historical trend that's favoring Glenn Youngkin.
