Breaking: CAGOP files Ethics complaint against corrupt Governor Gavin Newsom
Hello,
The California Republican Party today formally filed a complaint with the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) against the worst Governor in America - Gavin Newsom.
Newsom failed to disclose the existence of a $3.7 million property which he is required to by Government Code.
Newsom's hypocrisy runs deep. He dined maskless with lobbyist friends, sent his children to in-person private school when public schools met virtually and kept his winery open when other wineries were forced to close. Now, we find out he hasn't reported a major financial interest while other Recall candidates were all required to comply.
There are three explanations for what Governor Newsom did:
He failed to disclose his multi-million dollar reportable interest in an LLC
He failed to disclose a $3.7 million interest in real estate
He has received an illegal gift worth millions of dollars that was in excess of the gift limit and intentionally not reported on his Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700).
Regardless of which of the three Governor Newsom is guilty of, they are all violations.
The FPPC now has 14 days to respond to our complaint and open an investigation. If the FPPC does not hold Governor Newsom accountable, we can hold Newsom accountable by Recalling him before September 14.
