Here's a piece of incredible news: I am *so* proud that, last quarter, our campaign was the most reliant on grassroots donations of any other candidate in this race, Democrat or Republican. 69.86% of our total fundraising over the past quarter came from grassroots contributions of $200 or less.
I am so incredibly humbled, John. 😭 Because THIS is what real grassroots momentum from working people looks like.
But here's the mathematical reality about running a campaign the right way — the grassroots way: For every $2,500 donation one of our opponents might get, we rely on about 100 of our grassroots donors to step up at our average gift of just under $25. The good news is we have hundreds of thousands of working folks from across Pennsylvania on our side. I've gotta ask:
