Happy Women’s Equality Day, John!

Today, we celebrate the progress women have made through the years and recommit ourselves to the worthy work left to do.

On this day 101 years ago, the 19th amendment was ratified, making sure no one’s right to vote could be denied on the basis of gender -- a fight won by our earliest champions for equality, including the women of color who helped lead the movement for rights that they could not access for another 45 years, until the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Then, as now, the fight was far from over.

Then, as now, we need all of us in it together.

Beyond casting ballots, Women Winning is here to ensure that pro-choice women see themselves on those ballots -- and that we elect our best advocates to seats of power.

We are proud to be committed to this work each and every day -- removing the barriers that have kept pro-choice women out of office by providing free trainings, one-on-one coaching, and boots-on-the-ground support.

Electing pro-choice women requires diligent planning, long-term organizing, and consistent hard work. And we can’t do this work without you.
