Brave rebels are being arrested right now, and they need our help.
More than 200 arrests have taken place in the capital since Sunday, with hundreds more a certainty during the Impossible Rebellion. Ordinary people, acting through love, fear and desperation.
Can you help these rebels with their legal costs?
Thanks to donations to our legal fund we've been able to help XR defendants receive legal advice, or a contribution to the costs associated with their case. This is on average £200 per defendant but in special circumstances can be as much as £1,500.
Recent XR victories at court show that disruption CAN be lawful. We have a right to protest, for the sake of the planet and all life. That’s why it is vital that XR defendants receive expert legal advice and financial support. Please stand in solidarity with the brave humans of XR, who are risking their freedom, and making their voices heard in the court room.
