In the fight for a stronger and more resilient future, I Make America seeks to spotlight our supporters who are standing up and telling their stories about how infrastructure impacts them.

I Make America supporter Doug S. from Kentucky explains that the country's aging infrastructure affects his daily life and why it is important for all Americans to urge Congress to pass a transformational investment in our nation's infrastructure:

"Driving a little more than 50 miles per day to work to earn a living makes infrastructure one of the most important things to me. And one of the most costly things in life is an automobile that I depend on. I have to take time on frequent car repairs and maintenance because my automobile has taken a beating on neglected roadways.

But time is very important to me. Roads that haven't been properly taken care of use up my time.

We trust people will not ignore their duties - though sometimes it feels like they are ignoring the problem of aging infrastructure. It costs people a lot more than just time and money; it eventually costs lives.

Someone has to step up and get it done because it's not something one can successfully ignore over and over."

- Doug S., Supporter since 2019

A transformational investment in our nation's infrastructure will enhance our industry's ability to meet the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century and improve the lives of all Americans for generations to come.

THANK YOU for your continuous action, which directly benefits the 2.8 million men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry and all hard-working Americans like Doug.
