As a lifelong resident of Georgia, I’ve seen how far our state has come.

Until last year, the last time a Democratic Presidential candidate won our state was 1992. The last time we had two Democratic Senators was 2003.

But we never gave up. For years, we organized community by community around issues like healthcare, voting rights, jobs, and more.

I’m proud to have been a part of that movement. In 2018, we answered the call from Stacey Abrams and flipped a Republican-held seat. Then, as an Inaugural Fair Fight Fellow, I joined Stacey again to fight voter suppression, mobilize voters, and help Democrats win statewide for the first time.

Now, it’s time to build on the momentum of last year and make history again. When we win next year, Georgia will have its first Democratic Governor and Lieutenant Governor since 2002.
