With the distance of seven months from the storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, some national political figures would rather that Americans forget what happened that day; forget that those who attacked the Capitol were trying literally to stop the democratic process by halting the lawful and accurate certification of electoral votes.

Instead, they want to rebrand and rehabilitate the attackers as martyrs.

Former President Trump said that the criminal defendants from the January attack "are being treated unbelievably unfairly." Another prominent political leader recently said that the idea of an attack on democracy is simply "the Left's bogus narrative.”

It’s critical that we keep telling the truth in the face of the Big Lie: the 2020 election was fundamentally fair, accurate, honest, and secure. Period.
