John,

Last year my McDonald's made headlines because they forced us to work during a pandemic...and told us to use coffee filters and dog diapers to cover our faces.

My coworker got sick, but our boss told her to finish the shift in a cramped kitchen with others. In an outbreak last year, 11 workers at our store tested positive for COVID -- including me.

So we went on strike. Workers filed a lawsuit. And we WON important protections for workers. This settlement keeps those in place.

Help us keep up the momentum >> Sign to demand paid sick leave for ALL McDonald's workers, and tell McDonald's that until ALL workers are safe, customers aren't either. [[link removed]]

Our groundbreaking win means our store will continue implementing appropriate safety measures and paid sick leave. Management also must meet monthly with workers to review safety measures and discuss if new ones are needed.

I'm glad our store is finally following common sense COVID safety protocols and giving workers a voice in securing a safe workplace, but too many McDonald's workers don't have these protections. More than 75% of McDonald's workers report not having paid sick leave.

With the new Delta Variant running through our communities, McDonald's needs to commit to providing a safe workplace to ALL workers NOW.

TELL MCDONALD'S -- keep EVERY worker safe with paid sick leave and proper safety measures >> [[link removed]]

McDonald's put profits over people throughout this whole pandemic. Giving us paid sick leave and safe working conditions is the least they can do; there's no more time to waste.

In solidarity,
