The Virginia statewide election is just over two months away, friends. With early voting beginning three weeks from tomorrow, now’s the time to make sure your voter registration is up to date: you can check the status of your registration here, and find the online voter registration application here. The deadline is October 17, but get it done as soon as you can! In addition to all 100 House of Delegate races, as well as local elections, three critical statewide races will be decided this November:
As Democrats, we’ve made incredible gains over the last few years — for common sense gun safety reform, the environment, equal rights, increased wages, and much more. Chip in now to help us build on that progress and make our Commonwealth a place that works for everyone. Unfortunately, all of that good work could be undone if we don’t defend these elected offices and our Democratic majorities. But here’s the most important thing to remember: the only way Republicans win is if their transparent attempts at voter suppression and intimidation succeed. Instead of listening to their constituents and adapting to what Virginians want and need, they rely on tactics of fear, deception, and suppression. If every eligible voter knows how, where, and when to cast a ballot, Democrats will win up and down the ballot. So, will you contribute to help us reach voters and make sure they understand that the future of Virginia is in their hands? If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
