First: We passed the Affordable Care Act into law — giving millions of Americans access to affordable healthcare.
 
Then: Republicans tried and failed to repeal it at least 70 times in Congress.
 
Now: President Trump and his GOP allies are attempting to strike down the entire ACA in court. And a decision could come at any moment.
 
 
Xavier is leading a coalition of 20 states and Washington D.C. to defend the ACA because he knows it works. We should build on its success, not throw it out the window. 
 
Thanks to the ACA, we eradicated the denial of health coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. We helped over 20 million Americans get insurance. We saved lives.
