Since day one, this administration has done everything in its power to turn back the clock on women’s rights.
From expanding the Global Gag Rule and support of dangerous abortion bans, to removing women's health care information from government websites and its ongoing attempts to gut the ACA, Donald Trump’s attacks on women extend far beyond his Twitter feed.
And, his latest attacks on progressive women in Congress are a continuation of this administration’s destructive pattern of behavior.
Right now, Vice President Mike Pence is touring congressional districts around the country represented by members of Congress who are in favor of the impeachment inquiry. All of the districts he’s planning to visit were won by Trump in 2016 and are key battleground areas for the GOP in 2020. Almost all of the members he’s trying to intimidate through this tour are women.
We must hold this administration accountable for its rampant corruption, blatant disregard for the rule of law, and its astonishing abuse of power.
I’m working hard with the House Judiciary Committee to stop this administration from committing even more heinous, unconstitutional acts. But, I can’t do it with you.
