On a grassroots campaign like ours, it's crucial for our team to hear from all of you as often as possible to learn about the issues that you care about and that are impacting you and your family.
Knowing what’s important to you helps us fight for legislation in Congress that will support working people most.
These periodic surveys we send also allow us to see how priorities have shifted in the past couple months. Last time we checked in, most people said abolishing the filibuster and protecting voting rights were their top concerns.
Listening to all of you is how Alexandria and our team determine many of our legislative priorities in Congress. For example, when Alexandria learned about the extreme burden of funeral costs that families were facing on top of other pandemic hardships – she got to work fighting for funeral assistance for families, and won $2 billion in emergency relief.
