The choice to exploit Montana’s lands and water forprofit has had damning consequences across our economy, our communities, and our public lands.
People are losing their homes to fire, and the farmers and ranchers who feed our state are barely scraping by. Our air is thick with smoke and water dangerously polluted by the giant corporations who barely pay any taxes.
It doesn’t have to be this way. I know because I've led these fights before:
I’ve challenged big corporations for taking advantage of our energy infrastructure and trying to foot Montanans with the bill. I’ve fought for environmental policies that will build our economy and help consumers, while standing up to for-profit corporations.
From being in the trenches working for Montanans, I’ve seen what hard work can win us and I know what’s possible for our future:
✅ It’s good-paying jobs while investing in renewable energy.
✅ It’s an economy that prioritizes people, instead of bending over backwards for monopolies.
✅ It’s a government that holds big corporate polluters accountable to Montana families.
Montana can and should lead the way. We can lead our country into a renewable energy future that works for everyone.
Guiding our state towards a renewable, sustainable, and affordable energy future was at the core of my campaign for Montana’s Public Service Commission and it’s at the core of my campaign for Congress. It’s the right thing to do for our climate and will create GOOD paying jobs here in Montana.
