I’ve got exciting news… Democracy for America is texting out the vote again this fall. With Labor Day right around the corner, we'll be ramping up and getting out the vote for the sprint to Election Day.

We will be working to mobilize new and infrequent voters to the polls in support of our endorsed candidates in key elections.

Candidates like Hala Ayala, who is running for Lieutenant Governor in Virginia, and would become the first woman of color and the first Afro Latina, elected to statewide office in Virginia’s history.

But this work takes resources, and right now we are still $3,000 short of reaching our end-of-month goal.

In 2020, through our member-led Text Out The Vote program, DFA members contacted millions of voters in states we needed to take back the White House and the Senate.

This fall, we have to do everything we can to turn people out for our progressive candidates that will make waves when elected.

So we’re working directly with campaigns and organizations in Virginia and other key states to make sure we contact the new and infrequent voters we need to win.

Now, in order to get our texting program running at full capacity as we head into key elections this fall, we absolutely need to reach our fundraising goal this month.
