Yesterday, after plenty of back and forth, and lots and lots of pushing uphill, the House finally took a big step towards passing major investments in clean energy, child care, early education, home and community-based care, and a country that works for everyone.

There’s more work to do to get this bill over the finish line. It won’t be easy. It definitely won’t always be pretty. But that’s because Democrats only have razor-thin majorities in the House and Senate. We all have to row in the same direction, with no margin for error.

Everything we need to accomplish will be easier if we elect more Democrats in Congress, and across the country — more Democrats who know that we can’t just nibble around the edges of the problems we face. So that’s my plan for 2022.
