Friend, I’ve fought for my entire career to defend access to reproductive rights.

But I’m really alarmed right now: The Supreme Court just announced it will hear a case on abortion rights – the first one since far-right justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch were confirmed to lifetime appointments.

Republicans have been desperate to roll back reproductive rights for decades. Now, with two new Trump appointees on the court, they see their big chance: This decision could shut down all but one abortion clinic in Louisiana – and set off a domino effect across the states. If we lose this case, it could spell the end of Roe v. Wade as we know it.

Friend, that means we have to seize our big chance, too – before it’s too late. I’m calling on Congress to take action to protect reproductive rights before this huge Supreme Court decision comes down. I need 750 more people to add their names with mine before midnight – but I see you haven’t yet signed.
