John — We’ll get straight to the point: Instructions for the rules of the budget reconciliation package from the Senate passed the House last night.
As President Biden would say, “This is a big deal!”
It’s also a massive win for activists working to combat climate change. The reconciliation package clarifies that tackling the effects of climate change is a priority of the Biden administration and Democratic members of Congress.
But the fight is far from over. Republicans and special interests will do everything they can to strip the reconciliation package of these and other vital provisions.
