Recent scientific studies confirm what we already knew to be true: Climate change is here -- and it’s only going to get worse if we don’t take immediate action to address it.
As we’ve seen across the country and the globe, extreme weather events like heatwaves and droughts are becoming more frequent and intense. In Maryland, we’re seeing more extreme storms and flooding.
I’m fighting for climate action in Congress and I could really use grassroots support to help get the word out before the August deadline. If you’re able, can you chip in a few dollars?

I’m working in Congress to protect our environment to ensure future generations, like my grandson Charlie, can enjoy it, too. Earlier this month, I worked with the Maryland congressional delegation to secure over $93 million in funding to prevent and respond to climate-related natural disasters and make our infrastructure more resilient in the face of our changing climate.
There’s much more to be done and I’m committed to taking bold, ambitious climate action to meet the moment we’re facing as a country and a planet. But if we lose our House Majority next year, we risk losing all the progress we’re making right now.
We can’t afford to go back to the days of critical environmental protection rollbacks. The stakes are far too high. We’re approaching our final fundraising benchmark before the next FEC deadline -- please chip in however much you can before midnight on Tuesday.

Dutch
