Dear Friend,

For the first time ever, the ground is shaking under mega-corporation Twitter.

Last week, a federal judge in San Francisco ruled that our lawsuit, John Doe #1 and John Doe #2 v. Twitter, Inc., can move forward!  THIS IS GREAT NEWS!  Never before has a lawsuit against Twitter ever moved past this stage! Together, we are truly making history.

This decision is the next step towards securing justice for our young clients who suffered greatly from Twitter allowing child sexual abuse material on its platform, while also knowingly distributing and profiting from the sharing of the material.  Now Twitter is finally being held accountable under the law!

Thanks to your partnership, this decision heralds the beginning of the end for Twitter and other online platforms who have facilitated and profited from sexual abuse and exploitation. But we also know they won’t go down without a fight - Twitter and Big Tech have billions of dollars at their disposal to continue this legal battle.

We need your continued investment in this case to fight until justice is secured and Twitter reaps the consequences of choosing profits over people.  Will you help us take on Twitter?

Your donation will help us get justice for victims in this case and set up protection and a path to justice for the hundreds of thousands of other victims also sexually exploited on this social media platform.

Thank you!

Dawn Hawkins, CEO, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation
