Earlier this month, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) — an international body of scientists under the United Nations — released an alarming report on the depth of the climate crisis.

The report was considered a “ code red for humanity ” by the head of the UN as it detailed some of the irreversible ways human activity has contributed to climate change.
