John - Thank you for helping me have a strong showing for our reporting deadline on Monday! Thanks to you, we are using every opportunity we have to show the strength of the progressive movement in NY.

To celebrate that movement and build towards the future together we gathered with Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and more than a dozen of the incoming progressive city council nominees in Prospect Park.

It turns out that gathering together to build a brighter future was just what we all needed after a long storm!

With a new Governor, new city council members, and new citywide leadership I’m feeling more optimistic than ever about the chance for New York City to tackle the longstanding challenges of economic inequality and racial injustice as we work together to end the pandemic and build a more resilient city.

But we sure have our work cut out for us. I started a list yesterday for our new Governor Kathy Hochul -- getting rent relief money out the door, funding excluded workers, tackling harassment, winning healthcare for all and more. Add your priorities to the list for New York by replying to the tweet on Twitter.

I’m excited about the movement we’re building to change NYC for the better. Thanks for being a critical part of it.

Brad
