Senator Bernie Sanders will be speaking on our National Strategy Call
tomorrow to give an important update on the current fight to improve and
expand Medicare and how it ties into our larger fight for Medicare for
All.

There are few politicians who have had as great of an impact in the fight
for Medicare for All as Senator Sanders. In 2016, Bernie and NNU worked
together to elevate Medicare for All to the national mainstream, and we’ve
been organizing to build this movement ever since.

In April 2019, Bernie introduced a Medicare for All bill in the Senate,
which was co-sponsored by four major candidates running for president.
Now, he’s leading the fight to pass a historic expansion and improvement
of the Medicare program in his role as Chair of the Senate Budget
Committee while continuing to lead the fight for Medicare for All in the
Senate.

fight and what’s needed to move the needle forward on Medicare for All.
