Here’s the first thing you need to know about Rose Pugliese: She has been an outspoken climate change denier. She called climate change “junk science” and even went as far as to fight for climate change education not to be taught in schools, saying there “wasn’t enough evidence” to support it. We’ve seen the impacts of climate change in Colorado with our own eyes, from the increase in wildfires to the rising temperatures year after year.

It’s clear she will do anything she can to push the far-right agenda forward, even if the evidence is right in front of her. Chip in now to make sure Jena can defeat Rose and keep her far-right agenda out of the Secretary of State’s office.

You also should know this: She was chosen by her Republican allies on the Mesa County Commission as the sole finalist for County Attorney. Then, after accusations of cronyism and public outcry, she withdrew her name.

We could go on and on about Rose, but instead, let’s focus on the future.

In 2022, we have a choice to re-elect a leader who is committed to stopping special interests’ disproportionate influence, increasing access to the polls, and continuing to strengthen Colorado’s gold standard election systems.
