Mathematical Advisor Dr. Audrey Malagon ([link removed]) was featured in this popular podcast on election administration. She talks about how her expertise led her to Verified Voting, her efforts to help election officials and the public understand exactly what risk-limiting audits ([link removed]) are, and why risk-limiting audits are so important to help election officials demonstrate trust in election outcomes. Audrey also discusses the work our team does to provide up-to-date, transparent data on election equipment and how we assist election officials on the ground in implementing robust, transparent audits and other best practices.

Our team was at this year’s National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS ([link removed]) ) annual conference. This NPR Politics podcast covers the issues on election officials’ minds, including the continued threats they receive, the nonpartisan nature of counting votes, and renewed interest in implementing post-election audits and other best practices to help demonstrate the accuracy of elections. The podcast also features clips of election officials from around the country who continue to push back against disinformation and are working to increase transparency in their processes.
