Gender transition surgeries are critical care, and banning them from Catholic hospitals leaves many trans Americans without any options. Catholic hospitals make up 10 of the 25 largest health care systems in the nation. Religious beliefs should never stop anyone from receiving health care.

Our judicial system has been overrun with Christian nationalists who are enshrining bigotry in law under the guise of “religious freedom.” But our movement of freethinkers is fighting back.
