Hi Friend,

Yesterday, the House passed the blueprint for the largest spending bill in history: a $3.5 TRILLION budget reconciliation package, aka the Biden-Bernie Bill

The proposal led a GOP congressman to rightly describe the bill as “hurtling towards a terrifying fiscal future that will bankrupt us.”

The House Democrats rammed this package through Congress via a sneaky legislative maneuver that allowed them to pass it without any Republican support, or without any input from either side, and while riding the coattails of the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

The bottom line is that the entire Democratic House Caucus just showed that they envision a government without bounds.

  • They are greenlighting another $4 trillion in spending, even as inflation is already exploding, leading to skyrocketing costs of basic goods.
  • They are trying to rush through a huge, new one-size-fits-all paid leave entitlement.
  • They want the federal government to become the biggest player in our daycare and preschool systems.
  • They are trying to sneak through a huge amnesty bill, again trying to legislate through this budgetary vehicle.
  • They could destroy independent contracting and freelance jobs as we know it.

Does that sound like infrastructure to you? It doesn't to me.

That sounds like a far left progressive wish list that the American public would never accept if this were debated in the light of day. But what should we expect?!

This is the Bernie Sanders socialist dream and President Biden and Pelosi are now trying to make it a reality.

Thanks,

Carrie Lukas
