Winston Churchill once said: “I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.” Conservatives understand this principle, which is why we always advocate for reducing Americans’ tax burdens.
The Left, however, does not. They are disregarding Americans’ financial struggles brought about by the pandemic. Liberals continue to raise taxes. In New Jersey, the state recently increased their payroll tax to replenish the state’s unemployment trust fund, which is estimated to cost New Jersey businesses roughly $252 million.
Conservatives understand basic economics and champion an individual’s right to financial freedom. We will continue to push back on the liberal agenda to take your hard-earned money.
