I want to thank you. Your contributions have really kept our campaign going. If I am the vehicle, then it is you who are steering this political revolution here in district 5. As you can see on the Kishinometer, we've currently got 511 verified signatures with a couple hundred still outstanding. And we're still going. We've been all over this district, from Martinez to Vallejo to Napa to Sonoma to Saint Helena to Santa Rosa. And this weekend we'll be spending time in Pinole and then back to Martinez. An update on all I've been doing is long overdue, but most of what I've been doing is gathering signatures to get our campaign on the ballot. So I think I'm going to do something a little different, and instead of the usual update letter, I'm just going to share some pictures from where I've been, and a video of my comments on 5G at the Napa City Council meeting earlier this week. But at the end of this email I'm going to ask you to participate in an email campaign to protect the safety of the women at Santa Rosa Junior College. And remember, please, that our campaign has no corporate donors, no billionaire financiers, no super PACs funneling money for us into a slush fund. We rely on your contributions, your investment in a political revolution that's going to transform our system into a system that works for everyone.

Thank you,

Jason

Letter writing campaign:

Six of the emergency call boxes at Santa Rosa Junior College are out of order, and have been for 2 years. Please consider emailing Robin McHale at Environmental Safety and ask her to take care of this problem. Her email address is [email protected] and please Cc Ms. Zarate at [email protected] . Here is my letter (you can use it if you wish, but leave out the part about being a Congressional candidate):

Hello, it has come to my attention that some of the call boxes to call campus police have been out of order for two years. Instead there is a sign with their phone number. That is unacceptable and irresponsible. Women who are on that campus after dark have to be able to feel safe. If someone is following a woman and making her feel unsafe, she isn't going to want to take the time to read and dial the phone number. It is only a matter of time before something really ugly and really preventable happens, and in addition to the physical and psychological trauma the victim suffers, the school may face a lawsuit for the out of service call boxes. I am very aware that no schools are properly funded, but I am also aware that college's spend money on upgrading buildings and equipment (such as the track that's being redone) all the time. If the safety of female students is a priority, the school will find the money in its budget. Please correct this oversight immediately. Additionally, security cameras should be installed in the stairways in that parking garage also for the protection of your female students. I hope to see these situations rectified upon my next visit.

Sincerely,

Jason Kishineff
