October is
Manufacturing Month
October is Manufacturing Month and during a
visit to Manitowoc's Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry,
Sen. Johnson enjoyed meeting these students from
Two Rivers High School. The foundry opened its
doors for community tours to help show high
school students that there are exciting,
good-paying jobs in manufacturing. Sen. Johnson
also visited Weld-Fab Manufacturing in
Slinger.
Wisconsin manufacturers would benefit from the
new USMCA trade agreement with Mexico and Canada.

School
Visits
During the recent in-state work period this
month, Sen. Johnson had the chance to visit many
schools across Wisconsin. During a visit to Slinger
High School, pictured above, the senator was
presented with a metal flag created by students in
the newly rennovated technical education
department. Sen. Johnson also visited Milwaukee
Area Technical College, Lake Country Lutheran High
School, James Madison Memorial High School in
Madison and Lincoln High School in
Manitowoc.
Did You
Know?
Speaking of Lincoln High School, did you know
that it was named the most beautiful public high
school in Wisconsin by
Architectural Digest? The high school was
built in 1923 and is known for its Gothic-style
tower and bronze statue of our 16th
President.
Sheboygan County
Century Farm
Congratulations to
Hanke Farms of Sheboygan Falls for getting the
Century Farm Award this year celebrating their
100 years as a family farm business. Sen. Johnson
was honored to visit this fifth generation family
dairy farm which supports five households. Both
of Sen. Johnson's parents grew up on farms, so he
has a deep appreciation for the resiliency and
grit of family farmers.
