John -

Yesterday the U.S. House passed HR 4: The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. This is a win for our democracy as the bill will protect ballot access and restore vital parts of the Voting Rights Act.

There were a lot of voter suppression tactics used in 2020, and this bill is a step to make sure our voting rights are protected. Voting yes on this bill should be a no-brainer, so of course Jim Jordan actively opposes it.

Jordan's going to throw a lot of politician weasel words at us, but we know the truth. He voted against the new Voting Rights Act because he doesn't believe in our democracy and the fundamental right to vote.

Ohioans are already silenced by some of the most restrictive voting laws in the country, registration purges, and severe gerrymandering. The last thing we need are even more barriers to our democratic rights.

Unlike Jordan, I believe our democracy is stronger when everyone has the opportunity to make their voice heard. If you have to suppress people’s votes to win, you shouldn’t be in office.

I’m running for Congress to defeat Jim Jordan. Will you consider a financial contribution to my campaign today to show your support for a candidate who will always protect the people’s voice?
