President Biden showed our allies that we can’t be trusted and our enemies that
we are not to be feared.

John,

When I think about my time serving our nation overseas in the US Army, I’m
reminded of the basic mission we were responsible for carrying out:

Provide support for our allies and completely wipe out the enemy.

What President Biden did in Afghanistan was the exact opposite. He showed our
allies that we can’t be trusted and our enemies that we are not to be feared.

I went on Fox News recently to discuss this failure of leadership and to
outline what steps we must take next to resolve this crisis –– and prevent
similar ones in the future.

John, ultimately, this tragedy is a symptom of the Executive Branch having far
too much power than what our Founding Fathers intended.

The solution? Congress must act immediately to take back war powers from
President Biden and future presidents.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon. While Afghan
citizens grapple with unimaginable terror at the hands of a resurgent Taliban,
Speaker Pelosi and Senator Schumer arepraising President Biden’s actions.

That is why I’m reaching out to you, John, to ask for your support in our
mission tosupport and empower conservative leaders who will put people over
politics.
