These parts make guns even deadlier—and they're being used in mass
shootings.

[ [link removed] ]Tell the ATF: Regulate arm braces NOW

John,

We just drove nearly 100,000 comments to the ATF on ghost guns, going
toe-to-toe with the gun lobby and making clear the ATF must take action.
Soon, the ATF should finalize this important rule.

In the meantime, you can help build on this momentum by demanding action
on another life-saving rule: [ [link removed] ]With just two clicks, tell the ATF to
regulate arm braces.

Arm braces—like bump stocks—can be used to make firearms more deadly. And
they've already been used in mass shootings—including in Dayton in 2019
and in Boulder earlier this year.

When an arm brace is attached to a pistol, the gun effectively becomes a
short-barreled rifle: highly lethal and easy to conceal. That's why
short-barreled rifles are one of the most highly regulated weapons in the
country—and have been since the bipartisan National Firearms Act (NFA) was
signed into law in 1934.

But because the ATF has not effectively regulated arm braces, the gun
industry has been able to sell MILLIONS of these firearms affixed with arm
braces—completely evading gun safety laws in the process. John,
the ATF needs to hear from you about this NOW: [ [link removed] ]With just two clicks,
tell the ATF to close this deadly loophole.

Arm braces were originally designed to help disabled shooters operate
firearms with one hand. But the gun lobby exploited them to make a profit,
all to the detriment of public safety. Under this proposed rule, the ATF
will continue to allow disabled individuals to obtain and use arm braces,
while making sure that modified guns intentionally sold to evade federal
gun safety laws are treated as short-barreled rifles under the National
Firearms Act.

Just like with ghost guns, the gun lobby is flooding the ATF with comments
opposing any regulation.

We need to make sure the ATF closes this loophole and regulates
short-barreled rifles in all forms. [ [link removed] ]WIth just two clicks, tell the ATF
to regulate arm braces today.

Thank you for taking action and for being a part of this movement.
