WFN Board of Directors Announces
Call for 2022 Directors
The Women’s Funding Network Board of Directors is now accepting nominations. Candidates should be individuals with a strong commitment and reputation for building and sustaining feminist principals that include racial and gender equity and justice for all.
Directors are responsible for the strategic direction of the organization, provide sound fiscal oversight, act as ambassadors for WFN with funding and programmatic partners, and actively amplify and advocate on behalf of the organization. Current Board members include representatives from allied philanthropic institutions, business leaders, subject matter experts, and advocates. Deadline for nominations is Friday, September 24, 2021. Terms begin January 1, 2022.

WOMEN FUNDED 2021: THE FEMINIST FACTOR

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
We’ve partnered with the Feminist Book Club to curate a welcome package for all participants that will feature products, literature, and art created by woman-and-POC owned businesses, artisans, and authors. The package will also include a conference mug so you can join us live online Thursday, September 23 for networking while sipping a beverage from your region of the world. In addition to these goodies, those who register before August 31st will receive a special early-bird gift.

Statement of Solidarity
The Women’s Funding Network invites you to join a statement of solidarity with vulnerable genders and populations at risk due to advancement of Taliban forces through Afghanistan.

Call to Action: Prospera International Network of Women’s Funds supports gender justice activism around the world and mobilizes action in the funding communities that we are a part of to secure that feminist activists, groups, organizations, movements, and human rights defenders are protected, safe, and able to continue their work, including in situations of multiple crises.

Donor Direct Action is launching an Emergency Response for Afghan Women convened by feminist activist Gloria Steinem. The Emergency Response hopes to galvanize support and take swift action in support ofAfghan women and children at this time of crisis.
