While many of Cori's colleagues skipped town, Cori stayed in DC and slept on the steps of the Capitol to prevent millions of evictions. And after securing an extended eviction moratorium, Cori went right to St. Louis to support everything from local organizations to community vaccination events.
In contrast, some of Cori's colleagues spent their time huddled with megadonors. Far-right Trump allies including Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, Rep. Jim Jordan, and former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows all attended a GOP fundraiser in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where tickets started at $2,000.
John, Cori is able to stay focused on working for St. Louis and communities like it instead of chasing down shady donors because of the generosity of grassroots supporters like you.
