John,
Our democracy is under attack.
What’s at stake? Everything.
Right now, we have an entire political party dedicated to doing everything it can to undermine our nation’s most basic tenants.
From promoting Trump’s Big Lie to attacking voting rights in states across the nation, Republicans are on a mission to crumble the very foundation our democracy is built on.
Without restoring the foundation and fighting for major changes that preserve our democracy, we could lose it.
This work is why I'm joining DFA to launch the Democracy for America Advocacy Fund, our issue-focused organization that will begin with structural democracy reform.
We need you with us in this fight. At this critical moment, we need to know your top priorities. What structural democracy reform issues do you want to see DFA focus on and where shall we lead heading into 2022?
Your feedback will help determine how DFA organizes to protect and defend our democracy-- and how we go on the offensive and strengthen it in 2022 and beyond.
Please click here to take this short DFA member survey and tell us what you think right now. It should only take a few minutes, and your responses will help Democracy for America prioritize what our members work on as we fight for structural democracy reform.
This is a big campaign and as we start to dive into the work it’ll take to succeed, we need to hear from you about what structural democracy reform issues are most important to you.
Whether it’s defending and expanding voting rights or adopting ranked-choice voting and getting big money out of politics, we know that solving each of these issues will allow us to create a more progressive, reflective, and responsive democracy.
As a grassroots-powered organization, it is critical to hear directly from you.
If you agree that protecting our democracy is a defining issue for our time, please take just a few minutes to take our structural democracy reform survey now.
And then, join us in doing this work. Everything is at stake.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us.
