Hi folks —

This month, millions of families received the second payment of the expanded Child Tax Credit.

An extra $250 here and $300 there can make all the difference for working families in Wisconsin — helping folks afford diapers, school supplies, rent, groceries, even unexpected medical care. These payments will cut child poverty in half this year alone.

CNBC reported that just the first payment of the expanded Child Tax Credit reduced financial anxiety for 56% of parents. That’s incredible, but we can’t stop here.

We have taken a major step toward eliminating child poverty, but we must go further. Congress must make this expansion permanent to ensure all parents have the resources they need to care for their families.

If you agree, I hope you will add your name to my petition demanding that Congress make the expanded Child Tax Credit permanent.

I’ll never stop fighting for our working families. Thanks for supporting me in that fight.
