On August 15th, the city of Kabul fell to the Taliban, putting tens of
thousands of our Afghan allies, their family members, and loved ones in
danger.

We have a moral responsibility to help them find safety in the United
States.

What we are watching unfold in Afghanistan is gut wrenching. Every person
in harm's way matters deeply, and the U.S. must do everything in our power
to help them safely evacuate and resettle away from the threat posed by
the Taliban.

and the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) — organizations
that are helping to resettle Afghan refugees in the United States. Can you
