Friend - A path to citizenship is on the table!

Moments ago, the House voted on the Senate’s budget proposal. Currently, a path to citizenship for immigrant youth, farm workers, TPS holders and essential workers is included in this proposal, and it’s up to us to make sure it stays that way.

Congress needs to know that we cannot and will not wait any longer, they must deliver citizenship now! The Members of congress who voted yes today have decided to stand with immigrants, but now the negotiations will begin. We need to keep the pressure on to demand citizenship stays in the package till the end. Join us in writing a letter to your Senate and House representative demanding they deliver citizenship now!

Permanent protections for millions of our undocumented community cannot be negotiated away. Take action today by sending a letter to your Senator and Representative demanding they keep citizenship in the reconciliation package and only vote yes on the package if it includes citizenship.

Years of work done and pressure applied by immigrant youth and activists like you have gotten us to this point, and we’re ready to win! Today’s vote was an exciting step in the right direction, but the fight is not over until we win citizenship for all 11 million members of our undocumented community.
