John,

As he now faces a formal impeachment inquiry with a majority of the American public in support of it, President Trump is in full meltdown. He has engaged in reckless foreign policy actions, leading to a humanitarian crisis for tens of thousands of Kurds at the Turkish-Syrian border. He has railed against the impeachment inquiry in unrelated press conferences with the Finnish president and the St. Louis Blues. He has blown up in a meeting with congressional leaders to discuss the new crisis in Syria.

President Trump knows that, despite committing numerous impeachable offenses since the start of his presidency, he may finally face consequences for his actions. While the House is choosing to focus solely on Trump’s dealings with Ukraine in its impeachment inquiry, he has a great deal more to which he must answer.

Will you call on the House of Representatives to expand the scope of the impeachment inquiry?

How Congress decides to handle its impeachment investigation is bigger than Trump. Its impact will outlive the current administration and the 2020 election. It is not about partisan politics or resentment. It is about securing the standards to which we hold our democratically-elected leaders accountable and upholding our Constitution and the rule of law. The only way we achieve this end is by holding President Trump accountable for his repeated abuses of power since taking office.

Tell Congress to expand the scope of its impeachment inquiry today.

In solidarity,

John Bonifaz (President, Free Speech For People)
