Hi Friend,

We already know Greg Abbott is willing to make money off the backs of suffering Texans. But right now, we’re about to see just how far he’s willing to go.

Last week, Abbott started heavily promoting a new treatment for COVID-19 -- Regeneron. Well, Friend, it just so happens that after Abbott came out singing Regeneron’s praises, the company’s stocks went up. And that news should give us all pause.

Here’s the thing. Abbott is actively stopping local leaders from slowing the spread of COVID-19. Despite teachers and parents literally begging him to allow schools to mandate masks, Abbott has refused to budge -- and is clearing a path for COVID to spread like wildfire among Texas kids. Friend, Abbott is doing everything he can to get more people sick. And the more people get sick and need treatment, the more money companies like Regeneron can make.

Greg Abbott’s corruption is killing Texans. We saw it when he accepted a million dollar check from an energy donor, in exchange for conveniently doing nothing to fix our power grid -- all but guaranteeing that Texans will go through another power outage disaster, and energy companies will once again rake in the profits. Now, he’s helping shareholders line their pockets off of Texans getting COVID-19.

This is what we’re up against. This is the twisted Republican governance that’s killing our people and running our state into the ground. And this is the reason we’re fighting every day to make 2022 the year we defeat Greg Abbott. We can’t do it without you. Will you rush $7 or whatever you can to our Texas Democratic Fight Fund today?
