John,

I want to thank our brave military personnel and veterans for their service and sacrifices. My thoughts are with every member of our armed forces--past and present--as we witness the tragedy unfolding in Afghanistan.

Those who swore an oath to protect and defend our country from all enemies foreign and domestic do not deserve to have their heroic efforts tarnished by the incompetence of the Biden Administration. President Biden has mishandled the withdrawal and put every American’s life there in danger. He has allowed the Taliban to destroy everything that our troops accomplished.

I pray for the safety of those who risked their lives, helped our cause, and have now been abandoned by President Biden to suffer under the brutalities of the Taliban. America’s troops, our allies, and our country deserve better leadership.
