We are always taking sides. District attorneys, courts, and law enforcement on one side and defendants, civil rights activists, and public defenders on the other. This can change. Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón is proof that we can seek justice alongside a reform-minded District Attorney.
In DA Gascón’s first hundred days in Los Angeles County he:
- Employed an independent special prosecutor to investigate egregious incidents of use of force.
- Requested law enforcement agencies to turn over their list of officers accused of misconduct.
- Filed felony charges against eight officers.
Because of his leadership and courage he is now being targeted by the "Always Trump" Conservatives. DA Gascón has listened and is being accountable to his communities. Now let’s help him fight for us in these crazy times fueled by the "Always Trump" Conservatives.
