VISTA, Calif. — On Tuesday, Chris Megison, the President and CEO of nonprofit Solutions for Change endorsed Brian Maryott for Congress, releasing the following statement:
"I've heard many candidates talk about addressing the housing crisis we have here in California, but rarely have I seen a leader step up and work to change the lives of families without housing. Our communities are in desperate need of a leader who brings a holistic approach to addressing homelessness while empowering people to change their futures. Brian Maryott and his team of volunteers have stepped up before, and they're stepping up again. I've worked with him on this issue, and I've seen firsthand Brian's commitment to improving the lives of everyday people who are struggling. Brian Maryott is the leader we need in Congress; he will deliver the solutions that truly transforms their lives."

Chris Megison is the President and CEO of Solutions for Change, a Vista based non-profit with a mission of Solving Family Homelessness- One family, one community at a time. Chris served in the U.S Marine Corps for over 10 years before becoming a full-time drug and alcohol counselor. Over the past two decades, Solutions for Change has provided transformative services to 1250 families and 2500 children.
