Quick update on the Bernie-Biden $3.5 trillion budget bill for you:

Nine conservative Democrats — led by Henry Cuellar — have been trying to block it. They don’t want the rich and large corporations to pay higher taxes.

This is the most significant piece of legislation in decades. It would put serious money toward combating climate change, funding universal pre-K, creating tuition-free community college, and expanding Medicare to cover dental, vision and hearing.

We’re mad, John. But the fight is not over. The more pressure we can put on the last few holdouts, the more likely we are to pass the Bernie-Biden bill.
