Nothing is more important than defending our fragile 50-50 Senate majority – and Senate control will come down to what happens here in Nevada, John.

That's why I'm about to ask you to help my friend Catherine reach her critical midnight grassroots fundraising goal. She's in for a tough fight.

CNN is calling Catherine one of the most vulnerable senators in the country – and the Cook Political Report just downgraded her chances of defending Nevada's critical seat. The GOP is starting to circle in, John: Not only is Catherine being outspent by GOP outside groups, they have already spent over $1 million to flip this seat.

We can't afford to lose ground in Nevada, and the only way to turn this around is grassroots supporters chipping in to help Catherine fight back before her mission-critical midnight deadline. She can't defend this seat alone, so can I count on you, John, to rush an immediate gift to help Catherine protect Nevada's must-win seat and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

No one fights harder for working families than Catherine. From health care to immigration reform to workers' rights, she is the voice American families need standing up for them in the Senate. But the Senate Republican campaign arm has already raised a whopping $28 million, which they could dump into Nevada at any moment. 

Donald Trump almost flipped Nevada in 2020, and with Mitch McConnell and the GOP hell-bent on regaining Senate control, they will pour in every dollar they have to win in a battleground like Nevada. It's up to you and me to help keep Catherine fighting for Nevadans and to defend our razor-thin Senate majority.

So I'll keep it plain and simple: Catherine has what it takes to win in Nevada, but missing tonight's goal risks this seat and Democrats' Senate majority. It risks us having to cut back on investments in voter registration and outreach. 

We cannot let Catherine fall short tonight, John. Please, give $5 before midnight to help Catherine keep Nevada blue and defend our Senate majority.
